Yes, all children who have a basic proficiency in everyday Swedish can participate in Swedish as Mother Tongue. However, the annual fee is higher for students whose parents are not Swedish citizens since they cannot be eligible for the financial support from Skolverket (Swedish National Agency for Education).
If your child understands and speaks everyday Swedish, they can always participate in Swedish as Mother Tongue regardless of their level. If you’re uncertain, you can ask us for guidance.
No, you can choose a group below or above your child’s age level based on their maturity or proficiency in Swedish. If you’re not sure which group to select for your child, feel free to ask us for guidance.
We begin all our courses the 1st of October and end on 31st of May.
All school materials and books are included in the course fee. To participate in the course, the student needs to have access to a computer with a high-speed internet connection and a headset. They should also have access to a printer for printing materials that are sent weekly via email or through the digital platform.
Currently, we do not grade students in Swedish as Mother Tongue. However, if you require a certificate for official purposes, such as applying to a school, we can provide one.

No, it is not possible to temporarily switch groups to make up for missed lessons. However, you can ask the teacher for extra materials or assignments to catch up on the missed lesson.
