Swedish as Mother Tongue on Zoom ages 6-20
Our goal is for your children to find learning Swedish enjoyable. Our lessons are interactive and dynamic, with a focus on oral proficiency, while also giving significant importance to improving students’ reading comprehension and writing skills in Swedish.
We have one lesson per week, lasting 50 minutes. We also use a digital platform as a supplement where part of the instruction involves reading and writing tasks, films and videos, quizzes, forums, etc., which students work on during the week between lessons. The total study time per week is of 2-3 study hours.
Please note that students who do not speak or understand everyday Swedish should not be enrolled in Swedish as Mother Tongue, but instead in Swedish Beginner Level A1-A2 on ZOOM.
Price:
- €390 per academic year
- * €590 per academic year if the student does not have a parent with Swedish citizenship and, therefore, is not eligible for the financial support from Skolverket (Swedish National Agency for Education).
All materials are included in the course fee.
To participate in the course, the student needs to have access to a computer with a high-speed internet connection and a headset. They should also have access to a printer for printing materials that are sent weekly via email or through the digital platform.
All classes are on Saturdays. All times are specified in Swedish time zone (CET). All groups and their specific schedule will be sent to the student as soon as sign-up closes and the students are divided into a group according to age and level of Swedish.
