Svenska Skolan Hemma LTD offers education in Swedish as Mother Tongue online  on Zoom. The school was founded and approved by the Swedish National Agency for Education (Skolverket) in the spring of 2023 and will begin its operations in the school year 2023-2024. Both the founders and teachers have extensive experience in teaching Swedish as Mother Tongue through the school association Svenska i Madrid, in Spain.

Svenska Skolan Hemma LTD was established with the aim of reaching all Swedish families living around Europe or elsewhere who do not have a school offering Swedish as Mother Tongue in their local area. Our goal is to enable all students to study Swedish and learn about Swedish culture, society, and traditions, regardless of their place of residence.

We provide education in Swedish as Mother Tongue and Swedish as a Second Language for children and youths aged 6 to 20 years. Our goal is to help our students to maintain and develop their language skills in Swedish while also learning a lot about Swedish culture, society, and traditions. Svenska Skolan Hemma LTD is approved by the Swedish National Agency for Education for government grants and follows the Swedish National Agency for Education’s approved syllabus for Swedish education for Swedish students abroad.

The founder and head teacher, Camilla Harg, is a certified licensed teacher in Sweden. Camilla has extensive experience in teaching both in Sweden and Spain. A part from founding and teaching at the association Svenska i Madrid she also previously taught Swedish as Mother Tongue at the Scandinavian School in Madrid and taught adult students in Swedish A1-B2 at Complutense University in Madrid, Spain.
